In this Clinical Dental Photography Masterclass, students should be able to learn the following key skills:

1.   Understanding the Basics: Students should gain a solid understanding of the fundamental concepts and principles of dental photography, including the importance of the Exposure Triangle and White Balance in photography, standard and creative dental documentation, treatment planning, patient communication, and case presentation.

2.   Technical Skills: Students should develop technical skills related to camera settings, exposure, lighting techniques, and patient positioning. They should learn how to adjust camera settings (e.g., aperture, shutter speed, ISO) to capture clear and detailed images, as well as how to use different lighting setups (e.g., direct, diffused, reflected light) and adjust the White Balance to achieve optimal results. They should also understand the importance of consistent lighting, exposure, linear scale, perspective, depth of field, and background in clinical photography.

3.   Mastering Equipment: Students should become proficient in using the necessary equipment for dental photography, such as cameras, lenses, flashes, light modifiers, mirrors, retractors, and other accessories. They should learn how to select the appropriate equipment for different scenarios and and needs, as well as how to properly handle the equipment.
